OUR MISSION
Founded in 2004, Dominion Derby Girls (DDG) has been bringing flat-track roller derby to Virginia Beach for more than 20 years. As one of the region’s longest-running roller derby leagues, we remain committed to promoting the sport and giving back to the Hampton Roads community as a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization. Above all, we are an amateur athletic organization that thrives on the strength, passion, and diversity of our skaters.
🏳️⚧️ Commitment to Inclusivity
Dominion Derby Girls welcome and celebrate trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming skaters and officials. We are stronger, richer, and more vibrant because of the diversity of our members.
SKATER OWNED & OPERATED
DDG is run by the skaters, for the skaters. Our league is built and sustained by athletes, coaches, officials, and dedicated volunteers. We are proud members of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) and follow all rules and regulations of the sport.
